We are paraphrasing from another blog, but the recent extreme weather event really underscored the impact on our wildlife through the destruction of their habitat. As an example, Gippsland has been very hard hit, first the bushfires, and now some worse-than-average wet'n'wild weather.

Major Event Review of Victoria’s Regional Forest Agreements
You should have seen in other blog posts we have put up that a review of the Wildlife Act is also underway and open for public comment. The Victorian National Parks Association have provided some good information on the review you may like to check out. The closing date for public input has now been extended to the 30th June.
